Communications Specialist and Practice Makeover Muse
MaryBeth joined ProSynergy in 2000 to add her strong background in corporate communications, collaborative development, video production and marketing to the ProSynergy family of professional resources.
Her skills were developed after she earned her degree in Journalism and Telecommunications at the University of Florida and started a production company, Two-Head Video Production, with her husband, D J Head, Jr. Over the next 20 years, she collaboratively created commercial, special interest, corporate and documentary programs for
wide-ranging clients with a specialty in environmental, non-profit, and medical fields. Her ability to define her clients’ needs, facilitate the creative process, understand the behavioral aspects of motivating people and collaborate effectively to achieve an end-goal, prepared her for the work she does with ProSynergy clients today.
MaryBeth connects with clients every day, helping them transition their practices to a more behaviorally-sophisticated model. She consults with dentists and their teams in the behavioral areas of the practice: patient facilitation, leadership, communication between team members and with patients, hiring, and marketing.
She is the moderator the Facilitator Study Club, the only program of it’s kind designed for patient coordinators, facilitators and team members who wish to refine their communication skills. She also writes and manages ProSynergy’s newsletter, blog, Twitter and Facebook presence.
MaryBeth is also available to provide web site evaluations, copywriting for marketing materials and guidance on
Social Media, TV and web-based campaigns, with a focus on the behavioral implications of your message.
MaryBeth is the go-between in the production process with ProSynergy’s corporate video partner,
Two-Head Video Production.
Dentists have been relying on Sandy to help them create behaviorally-sophisticated practices for over 30 years.
Sandy inspires dentists to think differently. She challenges archaic ideas and quick fix solutions and helps dentists become as skilled behaviorally as they are clinically to achieve the fulfillment and success of which others merely dream. Sandy promotes the concept of facilitation and helps practices learn how to become more effective with patients. With her support, dentists can create highly-functioning and successful practices based on an understanding and application of communication and behavioral skills. Her focus on communication covers
every non-clinical area of the practice - leadership, hiring, team development, patient relations and internal and external communications. You can be certain that you will discover ideas and perspectives of profound impact that can change the quality of your practice and your life.
Sandy Roth is a skilled communicator who, with her husband, Doug, founded ProSynergy in 1987. Sandy’s
educational background includes a BA in Psychology and completion of all Ph.D. coursework in Systems Psychology. She is currently completing a Masters degree in Organizational Management.
The development of Sandy’s skills began on the streets of Philadelphia, where she served as a police officer while Doug attended Temple University Dental School. Those skills were challenged in graduate school and sharpened during her years in the political cauldron of Washington, DC. Doug’s dental practice offered the next setting for her learning when she joined him in 1981. They achieved a high level of mastery in leadership, team building and organizational development in their practice, which continues today in Brooksville, Florida.
Sandy served as co-chair of the Professional Education Committee for the 2010 and 2011 AACD Scientific Sessions
as well as the 2011 Professional Education Committee.
She is also a Faculty member at The Dawson Academy
and The Kois Center. She is also a Contributing Editor to the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry and her articles are
often featured in Dental Economics.
